I started playing with a sequencer program called Linux Multimedia Studio. It’s fun and free.

Here’s the result.

Over New Years 2009, we played around with my BOSS RC-2 Loop Sampler.

I brought an acoustic guitar and a bass, and Matt brought a couple shakers, a djembe, and a cajon. He, Seth, I, and Matt Otis all took turns playing the following tunes based on simple guitar licks.

Predominant instrumentation was: Neal – guitar, Matt B – percussion, Neal – bass. Seth also played some guitar layers, and Matt Otis chimed in with some wicked shaker.
